A friendly and supportive law firm in Harrogate is looking to appoint an experienced Private Client Solicitor or CILEX professional to join its collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned private client practitioner who enjoys handling a varied caseload, building strong client relationships and delivering a compassionate, high-quality service. The Role: You will manage a broad range of private client matters including:
- Probate and estate administration
- Taxable and non-taxable estates
- Preparing IHT forms and dealing with HMRC requirements
- Drafting Wills, including more complex estate planning arrangements
- Advising on trusts, business assets, blended families and second marriages
- Lasting Powers of Attorney and occasional Deputyship matters
- Supporting clients through sensitive and often emotional situations with professionalism and empathy
About You: Qualified Solicitor or CILEX professional. Ideally 5+ years PQE, although strong technical experience will also be considered. Confident managing private client matters independently. Strong knowledge of IHT.
