This role requires strong hands-on experience with Star sliding head CNC lathes and a solid working knowledge of Fanuc control systems, as all machines operate using Fanuc panels. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming CNC machinery to produce high-precision components, ensuring exceptional quality, efficiency, and consistency at all times. Key Responsibilities Set, operate, and program CNC sliding head machines (primarily Star) Work confidently with Fanuc control systems across all machines Produce precision-engineered components to tight tolerances Ensure efficient machine operation and minimal downtime Carry out quality checks and inspections of finished parts Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately Maintain a clean and safe working environment Support continuous improvement in machining processes Essential Experience & Skills
