Role Overview
The Head of Family Law will oversee the department's casework, supervise and develop junior team members, manage operational performance, and contribute to strategic direction and growth. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Family Law department across multiple offices.
- Handle a varied and complex caseload, including divorce, finance, children matters, cohabitation issues, and domestic abuse cases.
- Supervise, train, and mentor solicitors, paralegals, and trainees.
- Ensure quality assurance, compliance, and risk management within the department.
- Contribute to strategic planning, growth initiatives, and departmental development.
- Support team performance, fee generation, and operational improvements.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and expansion of the department.
- Work closely with senior management to refine processes and client service delivery.
