Job Description:
Job Title : HGV Driver (Class 1 or 2)
Salary : £14 per hour
Location : South West England, Devon
In this role, you will be responsible for operating an HGV vehicle as part of a well-established fleet. Youll be transporting goods across the South West of England, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and safety. This is a Monday to Friday position, with early morning starts, giving you a stable schedule and the perfect work-life balance.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • Start Time: 7:30 am
  • Finish Time: Dependent on deliveries (finish when your route is complete)
  • No weekends required!

Key Duties

  • Safely operate Class 1 or Class 2 HGVs, delivering goods in a timely manner across the South West region.
  • Carry out vehicle checks and ensure maintenance is kept up to date.
  • Accurately complete delivery paperwork and follow all relevant safety and legal regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients at delivery points.

Key Requirements

  • Full UK HGV Class 1 or Class 2 license.
  • CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and Digital Tachograph card.
  • Minimum of 2-years experience in HGV driving.
  • Excellent knowledge of South West road networks.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to health and safety standards.
