About the Role
This is a hands-on estimating role that sits at the heart of how the business wins and delivers work. You’ll be responsible for taking new enquiries through to submission, pricing jobs ranging from residential renovations to commercial construction contracts. Expect to be involved in the full cycle, liaising with suppliers, site visits where needed, and playing a key part in the bid strategy. You’ll be working under the estimator manager.

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
You’ll be based in the office with occasional site visits depending on the job.
Key Duties
Preparing detailed cost estimates for a range of projects (residential and commercial)
Reviewing drawings, specs and scope documents to produce accurate take-offs
Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
Visiting sites to assess project needs and validate assumptions
Assisting in the preparation of tender submissions and proposals
Working closely with the operations team to hand over successful bids
Key Requirements
Solid understanding of construction methods, materials and costs
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Ability to read and interpret drawings and tender documentation
Comfortable managing multiple quotes and deadlines at once
Confident communicator both in writing and face-to-face
