The Role: You will manage a broad range of private client matters including:
- Probate and estate administration
- Taxable and non-taxable estates
- Preparing IHT forms and dealing with HMRC requirements
- Drafting Wills, including more complex estate planning arrangements
- Advising on trusts, business assets, blended families and second marriages
- Lasting Powers of Attorney and occasional Deputyship matters
- Supporting clients through sensitive and often emotional situations with professionalism and empathy
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX professional
- Ideally 5+ years PQE, although strong technical experience will also be considered
- Confident managing private client matters independently
- Strong knowledge of IHT, CGT and trust taxation
- STEP qualification highly advantageous
- Experience with probate software beneficial
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Able to support and work collaboratively with wider team members
