We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HGV Technician to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the inspection, repair, and servicing of heavy goods vehicles to ensure they meet safety standards and operate at peak efficiency. You will work in a fast-paced workshop environment, managing multiple vehicles and prioritising tasks based on operational urgency. Your expertise will be critical in minimising downtime, extending vehicle lifespan, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostic testing and troubleshooting on HGV engines, transmissions, braking systems, and electrical components.
  • Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid top-ups, and component inspections.
  • Repair and replace faulty parts such as brake pads, suspension components, exhaust systems, and hydraulic systems.
  • Operate diagnostic equipment and computerized testing tools to identify mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Document all work performed, parts used, and hours spent on each vehicle in maintenance records.
