About the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join a busy, professional kitchen. This role is ideal for a dedicated chef who enjoys working with fresh, high-quality British ingredients and takes pride in producing exceptional seasonal dishes.

Working closely with the Head Chef, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding food, maintaining high kitchen standards, and contributing to menu development. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team with genuine opportunities for career progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of your designated kitchen section and ensure dishes are prepared and presented to a consistently high standard.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to deliver exceptional food quality and service.
  • Assist in the preparation and development of seasonal menus and new dishes.
  • Support, mentor and encourage junior members of the kitchen team.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness at all times.
  • Ensure stock is handled correctly and minimise food waste.
  • Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail.

Essentials

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie within a busy professional kitchen.
  • A genuine passion for cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
  • Excellent knowledge of food preparation, presentation and kitchen operations.
  • The ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • A team-focused approach and willingness to support colleagues.
  • A desire to contribute ideas and continuously improve the kitchen offering.
  • A valid UK driving licence.
