About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced HGV Technician to join a well-established company with over 75 years of industry experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of HGVs.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults.
- Complete routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and safety checks.
- Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections, ensuring they meet the required safety and compliance standards.
- Use diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and rectify faults.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with DVSA regulations and manufacturer standards.
- Complete job cards and maintenance documentation accurately.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety within the workshop.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Technician, Light Vehicle Technician, or in a similar role.
- Vehicle Technicians looking to transition into HGVs are encouraged to apply, as full training and support will be provided.
- Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification is preferred, although experienced candidates without formal qualifications are encouraged to apply.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- HGV Licence is advantageous but not essential.
