You will provide day-to-day support to one Solicitor and Partner across a varied residential conveyancing caseload, helping matters progress efficiently from instruction through to completion. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting residential and
Buy-to-Let conveyancing matters
Opening and setting up new files
Carrying out property searches and assisting with search results
Preparing correspondence and legal documentation
Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other third parties
Assisting with enquiries and progressing transactions
Requesting and checking client documentation and information
Assisting with exchange and completion
Preparing and checking completion statements and financial information
Maintaining accurate case management records
Monitoring key dates, deadlines and outstanding requirements
Providing a high standard of client service
Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties
About You
Were looking for someone who is
thorough, reliable and a strong team player
, with previous experience in a residential conveyancing environment. You will ideally have: Previous experience as a
Conveyancing Assistant, Legal Assistant, Conveyancing Paralegal or similar
Experience in
residential conveyancing
Ideally, exposure to
Buy-to-Let matters
A good understanding of the conveyancing process
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems
Strong numerical and
accounts skills
, with confidence working accurately with figures
A professional and client-focused approach
Experience with
Proclaim
