I am recruiting on behalf of a specialist restoration business with an outstanding reputation for quality and service across Greater London and the Home Counties. This is an opportunity to join a highly skilled team delivering restoration and refinishing services to some of London's most prestigious residential properties, luxury developments, hotels, and commercial environments. Rather than replacing damaged fixtures, the business restores baths, basins and shower trays to an exceptional standard, helping clients achieve premium results while reducing waste and unnecessary replacement costs. This role would suit someone who takes genuine pride in their workmanship, values attention to detail and enjoys producing a finish that they can stand back and be proud of.

The Opportunity

No two days are the same. One day you may be working within a luxury apartment development in Central London, the next within a five-star hotel or a high-end residential property. The business works with discerning clients who expect professionalism, reliability and exceptional standards. As such, the quality of the finish and the way work is carried out are equally important. Full training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude and practical aptitude. Equally, experienced spray technicians, decorators, SMART repair technicians, bodyshop professionals and surface repair specialists are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Travelling to customer sites throughout Greater London and the Home Counties.
  • Restoring baths, basins and shower trays using specialist refinishing techniques.
  • Preparing surfaces meticulously to achieve a flawless final finish.
  • Applying specialist coatings using professional spray equipment.
  • Protecting surrounding areas and maintaining exceptional housekeeping standards.
  • Delivering work to exacting quality standards.
  • Building positive relationships with customers and representing the business professionally.
  • Working closely with colleagues and supporting team objectives.

What We're Looking For

Technical skills can be taught. Reliability, professionalism and attitude are much harder to find. Successful applicants will demonstrate:

  • A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Excellent reliability and timekeeping.
  • A team-focused attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
  • Pride in workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • A willingness to learn and develop specialist restoration skills.
  • The ability to work independently while remaining accountable to the wider team.
  • A practical and hands-on approach to work.
  • A full UK driving licence.

Experience within any of the following would be advantageous:

  • Spray finishing
  • Vehicle refinishing
  • SMART repair
  • Bodyshop repair
  • Surface repair
  • Decorating
  • Coating applications
  • Bath resurfacing
  • Joinery finishing
  • Manufacturing or workshop environments

Why Join?

This is more than a technician role. It is an opportunity to develop a specialist craft within a business that genuinely values quality and long-term career development. You will receive:

  • Competitive salary of up to £36,000 depending on experience
  • Performance-related incentives
  • Fully expensed company van and fuel card
  • Full specialist training programme
  • All tools, equipment and uniform provided
  • Pension scheme
  • 28 days annual leave
  • Long-term career progression opportunities
  • Supportive and experienced team environment

For candidates looking to build a career in a specialist trade, this represents an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, work on prestigious projects and develop highly sought-after skills within a growing and respected business.
