About the Role
A well-established automotive company and Land Rover/Jaguar specialist based in Ottery St Mary is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Vehicle Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician with experience in electric vehicle repairs and servicing to secure a long-term position within a professional well-equipped modern workshop environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostic and electrical repairs work to a high standard while maintaining excellent workmanship and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a range of vehicles
- Carry out repairs and servicing on electric vehicles (EVs)
- Complete work to manufacturer and company standards
- Ensure all paperwork and job cards are completed accurately
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Work collaboratively with the workshop team
Qualifications & Requirements
- Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience in electric vehicle (EV) repairs and servicing required
- Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) experience preferred but not essential
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Strong mechanical knowledge and attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence preferred
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
No weekend work
Salary
£36,000 - £40,000 per annum
