Salary: £40,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Coverage Area: Up to a 7-mile radius from our Sheffield workshop

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine vehicle servicing in line with manufacturer schedules.
  • Diagnose and complete basic mechanical repairs efficiently.
  • Replace service items including brakes, batteries, filters, bulbs, and suspension components.
  • Perform vehicle health checks and identify any additional work required.
  • Maintain accurate service records and job sheets.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and represent the business professionally.
  • Keep the company vehicle, tools, and equipment clean and well maintained.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience as a vehicle technician or mobile mechanic.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills for routine mechanical issues.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your daily workload.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Reliable, organised, and punctual.

Desirable

  • MOT Tester qualification (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience working in a mobile or roadside environment.
