Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) to join a growing legal practice. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' PQE, although more experienced applicants will also be considered. The firm is particularly keen to appoint someone with strong divorce law experience, as this is a key area of growth for the department. You'll manage your own caseload of privately funded family matters while providing high-quality legal advice and excellent client care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of private family law matters from instruction through to conclusion.
- Advise clients on divorce, financial remedy proceedings, and child arrangement orders.
- Conduct advocacy and represent clients at court hearings where required.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ensure all matters are handled efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.
- Support the continued development of the family law department.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX).
- Ideally 3-5 years' PQE in family law (more experienced candidates are welcome to apply).
- Strong experience handling divorce matters is essential.
- Experience with financial settlements and child arrangement orders.
- Confident advocate with excellent communication and client care skills.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
