We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Plumber to join a well-established mechanical contractor based in Maidstone. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who is located close to Maidstone and is happy to travel to London for project work. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on a variety of commercial installation projects across London and surrounding areas, while being based out of the Maidstone office. This role is ideal for someone with strong commercial plumbing experience who enjoys working on large-scale projects and delivering high-quality installations.

Projects include commercial offices, residential developments, plant rooms, healthcare facilities, and large refurbishment/fit-out works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation of commercial plumbing systems on new build and refurbishment projects
  • Working on hot and cold-water systems
  • Installation of above-ground drainage systems
  • Pipe fitting and commercial mechanical installations
  • Plant room installation and maintenance work
  • Installing heating systems and associated pipework
  • Working on commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Testing completed systems to ensure quality and compliance
  • Working closely with site teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently
  • Following all health and safety regulations on-site
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years experience in commercial plumbing
  • Strong installation experience within commercial environments
  • Experience working on plant rooms, heating systems, and commercial pipework
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing (preferred)
  • CSCS Card required
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Must be located within a commutable distance to Maidstone
  • Must be comfortable travelling to London for projects
