We are seeking an experienced Euromac Punch Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating Euromac punch machinery to produce high-quality sheet metal components in line with engineering drawings and production schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate Euromac punch machines safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Load, position, and process sheet metal materials.
- Carry out tool changes and machine adjustments as required.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure components meet specifications.
- Identify and report machine faults or production issues.
- Maintain accurate production records.
- Work to production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure housekeeping and health & safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating Euromac punch machinery.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Experience working with sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious.
Desirable:
- Experience with CNC punch programming.
- Forklift licence.
- Experience within a sheet metal manufacturing environment.
