About the Role

The company is looking for an experienced and motivated HGV Mechanic to join its team based in Nantwich (CW5 6BJ). This is a permanent opportunity offering excellent earning potential, career development, and the chance to gain additional qualifications through employer sponsorship.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, diagnosing, and repairing Heavy Goods Vehicles to ensure the fleet operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGV vehicles and associated equipment
  • Diagnose faults and complete mechanical and electrical repairs efficiently
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance checks
  • Ensure all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate service and repair records
  • Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet operational deadlines
  • Follow company policies and health & safety procedures at all times

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience as an HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Vehicle Technician, or similar role
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to high standards of workmanship
  • Relevant mechanical qualifications are advantageous
