The Role: Seeking an experienced CNC Operator / Setter to work on Star sliding head machines using Fanuc controls. You will be setting, operating, and producing precision components to tight tolerances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and operate CNC sliding head machines (Star)
- Work with Fanuc control systems
- Produce high-precision components
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Carry out quality checks
- Maintain efficient machine operation
Requirements:
- 5+ years CNC setting/operating experience
- Experience with Star or Citizen sliding head machines
- Strong Fanuc knowledge
- Apprenticeship in CNC/Engineering preferred
- Fixed head lathe experience beneficial
Please note: CNC Milling experience is not relevant for this role.
Hours: Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 5:00pm, Friday: 7:30am - 2:00pm (42.5 hours per week)
Salary: Between £37,000 and £42,000 per annum
Benefits: 23 days holiday +
