An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Dispute Resolution Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) to join a well-established and respected law firm. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of dispute resolution matters from instruction through to conclusion.
- Advise clients on a broad range of civil and commercial disputes.
- Represent clients during negotiations, mediation, and where appropriate, court proceedings.
- Draft legal documents, witness statements, correspondence, pleadings, and settlement agreements.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing clear and practical legal advice.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and professional contacts.
- Assist with business development and networking activities to support the continued growth of the department.
- Ensure compliance with SRA regulations, court rules, and internal procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to junior members of the team where appropriate.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX).
- 23+ years' PQE (or equivalent post-qualification experience for CILEX professionals).
- Ability to manage a litigation caseload with minimal supervision.
- Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and dispute resolution processes.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to resolving disputes.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Desirable Experience
- The successful candidate may have experience in some or all of the following:
- Commercial litigation
- Property litigation

- Landlord and tenant matters
