We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Trailer Technician, HGV Technician, Mechanic, or Vehicle Technician to join a busy and growing workshop based in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial trailers while working as part of a supportive and professional team.
The Role
- Servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial trailers
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out safety inspections
- Carrying out welding and fabrication work where required
- Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
- Working efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Trailer Technician, HGV Technician, Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, or similar role
- Experience working on commercial vehicles, trailers, industrial or agricultural machinery is highly desirable
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Working Hours
- Day Shift Monday to Friday: 06:00 - 14:30 (42.5 hours per week)
- 1 in 3 Saturdays: 06:00 - 15:00
- Twi-light Shift Monday to Thursday: 14:30 - 01:00
Salary and Benefits
- Salary up to £50,000 per annum depending on experience
