Worcester, England, WR6 5DF\n \nJob Type: Full-Time, Permanent\n \nSalary: £18.00-£21.00 per hour, depending on experience Working Hours: \n \n Monday to Friday \n Flexible shifts between 7:30am and 5:00pm \n Choose from 6-hour, 8-hour, or 10-hour shifts \n Overtime opportunities available \n No weekend work \n About the Role \n An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic to join a well-established and highly respected company with over 75 years of industry experience. \n Based in a brand-new, modern workshop, you will be joining a skilled and supportive team within a company that is committed to investing in both its people and equipment. \Key Responsibilities \n As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for: \n \n Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of HGVs. \n Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults. \n Completing routine inspections, preventative maintenance and safety checks. \n Repairing engines, gearboxes, braking systems, steering and suspension. \n Completing job cards and maintenance documentation accurately. \n Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety within the workshop. \n About You \n We are keen to hear from candidates with experience as an: \n \n HGV Technician \n HGV Mechanic \n Heavy Vehicle Technician \n Vehicle Technician \n Light Vehicle Technician \n Mechanical Technician or similar \n \n Vehicle Technicians looking to transition into the HGV industry are also encouraged to apply, with training and support available. \n Ideally, you will have: \n \n Previous mechanical repair and maintenance experience. \n A Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (preferred but not essential for highly experienced candidates). \n A Full UK Driving Licence. \n An HGV Licence would be advantageous, but is not essential. \n What's on Offer \n \n Competitive starting pay of £18.00-£21.00 per hour. \n Flexible Monday to Friday working hours. \n Choice of 6-hour, 8-hour or 10-hour shifts. \n Overtime opportunities. \n Government pension scheme. \n 28 days holiday, including bank holidays. \n Company van provided where required. \n Company uniform provided. \n Ongoing training and development. \n Excellent opportunities for career progression. \n A brand-new workshop with modern equipment. \n \n Apply today to join a growing and supportive team and build a long-term career within a respected and established business. \
