About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Fitter to join a well-established team based in Kirkby, Liverpool. This is a permanent opportunity offering stable hours, overtime availability, and long-term career prospects.
The role will focus primarily on the maintenance, servicing, diagnostics, and repair of trucks and trailers, ensuring all vehicles remain safe, compliant, and operational.
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGV trucks and trailers.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Work to company procedures and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Support workshop operations to minimise vehicle downtime.
Minimum 3 years experience working as an HGV Fitter, HGV Technician, or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence preferred.
Strong experience working on trucks and trailers.
Monday to Friday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
Saturday shifts available (optional) with overtime paid.
Permanent, full-time position.
Competitive hourly rate of £18 - £20 per hour.
