The Role

As a Residential Surveyor, you will undertake residential property inspections across the North East, preparing high-quality reports in accordance with relevant RICS professional standards. Your responsibilities are likely to include:

  • RICS Level 2 Home Surveys
  • RICS Level 3 Building Surveys
  • Residential valuations
  • Help to Buy valuations
  • Probate valuations
  • Defect diagnosis
  • Client consultations
  • Building and maintaining relationships with estate agents, solicitors and homeowners
  • Managing your own diary and workload
  • Producing accurate, professional reports within agreed timescales

Essential Requirements

  • Genuine passion for residential property
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong report-writing ability
  • Professional and client-focused approach
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable Experience & Qualifications

  • AssocRICS or MRICS qualification
  • Registered Valuer status
  • Experience using GoReport
  • Knowledge of the North East residential property market
  • Drone qualification
