About the Opportunity
We are currently working in partnership with a well-established and growing law firm in Chester to recruit an Employment Paralegal to join their busy and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in employment law, offering hands-on experience, exposure to high-quality work, and the chance to work closely with experienced solicitors. The Role
You will play a key role in supporting the employment team on a wide range of matters, including both contentious and non-contentious work. Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting solicitors with Employment Tribunal matters
- Supporting cases involving:
- Unfair dismissal
- Discrimination
- Redundancy and whistleblowing
- Employment contracts
- Settlement agreements
- HR policies
This role offers excellent exposure and responsibility early on, making it ideal for someone looking to progress to a training contract or further legal qualification.
What We’re Looking For
- Law degree (LLB) or equivalent
- Previous paralegal experience (ideally in employment law, but not essential)
- Strong interest in employment law
