Drains Engineer

Job Title: Drainage Engineer Location: Berkhamsted Salary: £40,000 – £42,500 per annum, depending on experience, plus overtime Job Type: Full-time, Permanent The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an experienced Drainage Engineer to join a well-established, family-run business based in Berkhamsted. The successful candidate will have strong drainage experience and a practical, hands-on approach to delivering high-quality solutions for both commercial and domestic customers. Key Responsibilities Carrying out drainage maintenance, repairs and unblocking for commercial and domestic properties. Conducting CCTV drainage surveys and completing associated remedial works. Undertaking patch lining, minor excavations and gutter cleaning where required. Operating high-pressure water jetting equipment and mechanical drainage machinery. Identifying drainage faults and providing effective solutions. Ensuring all work complies with relevant environmental, safety and industry regulations. Delivering a professional, reliable and customer-focused service. Requirements Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Drainage Engineer. Strong experience using high-pressure water jetting equipment. Confident operating drainage machinery and equipment. Experience carrying out drainage repairs, maintenance and unblocking. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. A positive attitude, strong work ethic and professional approach. Full UK driving licence. Salary
