An established law firm based in Hayling Island is seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join their busy property department. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, ensuring transactions are handled efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements. There may also be a small amount of straightforward commercial property work involved in the role, ideally within the candidate's existing experience or capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and leasehold transactions.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors throughout the transaction process.
  • Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and completion statements.
  • Conduct property searches and review title documentation.
  • Assist with occasional straightforward commercial property matters, where appropriate.
