The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 € per year.

You will be responsible for keeping client financial records accurate, up to date, and compliant, while gaining exposure across a wide range of bookkeeping and payroll work.

Day-to-day bookkeeping:

  • Managing bookkeeping for a varied client portfolio
  • Processing invoices, receipts, and bank transactions using Xero and Dext
  • Performing regular bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Supporting VAT return preparation and submissions
  • Preparing payroll journals and assisting with month-end processes
  • Supporting CIS-related work where required

Payroll exposure:

  • Running weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls
  • Submitting RTI filings to HM Revenue & Customs
  • Supporting pension auto-enrolment processes
  • Dealing with payroll queries in a professional and timely manner

What They’re Looking For:

  • Essential:
    • AAT Level 3 qualified (or equivalent)
    • Experience working in an accountancy practice
    • Strong bookkeeping experience using Xero
    • Payroll experience, including RTI submissions
    • Good understanding of UK VAT principles
    • Strong Excel skills
    • High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
    • A confident, reliable communicator
  • Desirable:
    • Experience with Dext
    • Exposure to CIS and VAT returns
    • Experience preparing records to trial balance
    • Familiarity with Sage Payroll or similar systems
