We are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Restoration Technician to join a well-established specialist automotive business based in Witney. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for classic and vintage vehicles to join a professional workshop environment specialising in restoration, maintenance, and event preparation. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys working on unique vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, repairs, and routine maintenance on classic and vintage vehicles
- Diagnose faults and complete mechanical repairs efficiently
- Assist with full vehicle restoration projects
- Prepare vehicles for rallies, events, and specialist shows
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and health & safety standards
- Communicate effectively with the wider workshop team
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Restoration Technician, or Mechanic
- Experience working on classic or vintage vehicles is highly desirable
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliable and professional work ethic
- Genuine passion for working on vehicles
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Full UK Driving Licence required
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Overtime available 1 Saturday per month on a rota basis
