An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Legal Secretary to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Nantwich.
Supporting the firm's Commercial and Residential Property Department, you will provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to Fee Earners while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the department.
This role is ideal for an organised and proactive Legal Secretary with a strong background in property law who thrives in a busy, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive secretarial support to Fee Earners within the Commercial and Residential Property Department.
- Produce accurate legal documents and correspondence using digital dictation.
- Manage files using case management software (experience with Smokeball is advantageous but not essential).
- Prepare legal documentation, correspondence, and reports.
- Liaise professionally with clients, estate agents, HM Land Registry, lenders, and other solicitors.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries.
- Carry out filing, scanning, photocopying, and other administrative duties.
- Assist with diary management, appointments, and document preparation.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and within required deadlines.

About You The successful candidate will have
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Residential and/or Commercial Property.
- Excellent audio typing and digital dictation skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and a professional, client-focused approach.
- Good typing speed and accuracy (RSA/Pitman qualifications or equivalent experience are advantageous).
