The Opportunity

We are working with a fast-growing and highly respected engineering business specialising in commercial catering, refrigeration, and foodservice equipment. Due to continued growth across the South West, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Catering Engineer to cover Bristol and surrounding areas.

The Role

As a Commercial Catering Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of commercial catering equipment (gas and electrical), ensuring minimal downtime for clients.

  • Service, maintenance, and repair of commercial catering equipment
  • Fault finding and diagnostics across gas and electrical appliances
  • Carrying out reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Working on equipment such as ovens, fryers, grills, dishwashers, and refrigeration units
  • Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Completing job reports and paperwork accurately

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Commercial Catering Engineer
  • Strong experience with both gas and electrical catering equipment
  • Valid COMCAT gas qualifications (essential)
  • F-Gas certification (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Clean licence preferred (no major points)
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
