This is a full-time, on-site role for an Educational Counselor located in London, E1 3FU. The Educational Counselor will support prospective students by providing tailored educational advising and guidance throughout the application and admission process. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Counseling students on academic and career goals
- Assisting with university and course selection
- Providing guidance on documentation and application submission
- Ensuring a smooth journey for students from inquiry to enrollment
The candidate must also have a good understanding of UK university application and student recruitment processes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in Educational Consulting and Student Counseling
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the UK International Student Recruitment Market
- Strong understanding of UK university admission process CAS & compliance procedures
- Student counselling and visa guidance
- Strong skills in Career Counseling and academic guidance
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English and Bengali
- Strong Computer Literacy skills
- Knowledge of the education system and student application processes
- Must understand UK university application and recruitment procedures
- Ability to build trusting relationships and provide supportive advice
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working in the education industry or with international students is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Business, or a related field is preferred
