We are a dynamic and fast-growing Mediterranean food manufacturer and brand, supplying high-quality products to leading retailers such as Whole Foods, Planet Organic, Bayley & Sage, and others. In addition to our branded range, we partner with major retailers and food service groups to deliver white‑label and private‑label solutions.

We are SALSA accredited and currently progressing towards BRC certification, with an audit scheduled for October.

Senior Account Manager

A motivated self‑starter with a passion for food, you will play a key role in securing and managing major retail and food service accounts, building strong buyer relationships, and shaping our brand presence. This is a hands‑on commercial role within a close‑knit team, combining sales leadership with marketing and brand activation responsibilities to ensure the success of our retail, wholesale, and private‑label business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Account Management
  • Manage and grow key retail, wholesale, and food service accounts (e.g., Whole Foods, Planet Organic, and others)
  • Identify and secure new listings, partnerships, and distribution opportunities
  • Lead customer business planning, ensuring sales and profitability targets are achieved
  • Develop and execute commercial plans for each account, including pricing, promotion, and range development
  • Collaborate with supply chain and operations to ensure outstanding service levels and delivery performance

Brand & Marketing Support

  • Work closely with the Managing Director to strengthen the company’s brand identity and positioning
  • Contribute to product launches, packaging design, and storytelling to align with customer needs and brand strategy
  • Coordinate promotional campaigns, in‑store activations, and digital collaborations to enhance visibility and drive sales
  • Support social media content planning by providing commercial insights and product highlights
  • Prepare marketing materials, presentations, and trade communications for key buyers and distributors
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events (e.g., IFE, Speciality Fine Food) to promote the brand and generate leads
  • Gather and share consumer and market insights to guide marketing and innovation priorities

Commercial & Strategic Support

  • Support in developing and implementing the company’s commercial growth strategy
  • Monitor sales performance and market trends, providing actionable insights and forecasts
  • Contribute to product innovation and range reviews based on category and consumer insights
  • Manage P&L accountability for assigned accounts and deliver agreed sales and profit targets

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with operations, production, and NPD teams to ensure alignment between commercial goals and production capabilities

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in FMCG or chilled food sales, ideally within the grocery or foodservice sectors
  • Proven track record of delivering sales and profit growth with major UK retailers or distributors
  • Strong experience managing both branded and private‑label accounts
  • Experience supporting marketing and brand activation projects, ideally within a food or FMCG environment
  • Confident negotiator with strong commercial acumen and analytical ability
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
