Shift Patterns:
- 4on 4off, starts between 04:00 and 06:00
- 4on 4off Nights, starts between 16:00 and 18:00
- Monday – Friday Nights, starts between 16:00 and 18:00
- Monday- Friday Days early starts from 04:00
The Role:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the accurate and safe delivery of customer products within a specified delivery area. Our flexible start time windows are designed to accommodate your schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate and safe delivery of customer product within the specified delivery area
- Regular liaison with the Transport Office to report and update any challenges, reportable matters, and completion of run
- Undertake multi-drop delivery, collection, or trunking as required
- Record deliveries and follow specific instructions for each customer site
- Maintain good working order of Kammac vehicles and any equipment on board, ensuring that any service requirements are reported as they occur
- Complete daily vehicle checks
- Ensure that reasonable care is taken at all times and that Health & Safety Policies are adhered to
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the Company Standards of Performance and Health and Safety Policy
- Report any accidents as soon as possible and in compliance with the company's accident reporting procedure
- Drive the vehicle safely and in accordance with the law
- Drive within the tachograph law and driver hours limits
- Look after the vehicle and ensure that it is not subjected to unnecessary damage
- Restrain the load in accordance with DfT code of practice: safety of loads on vehicles
- Maintain the cleanliness of the driving cab

Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Class 1 Driver
- Must hold a Class 1 Driving Licence
- Valid Digi-Tacho card and CPC card
- Must be a team player and considerate of his/her worker colleagues
- The successful candidates will also drive to the highest standards, putting the safety of themselves and other road users at the forefront of their driving actions
- Must adopt a flexible approach to working
