Roles And Responsibilities
- Responsible for plant-wide proactive and reactive mechanical maintenance to ensure optimum performance of all equipment
- Work with the Engineering team to ensure delivery of Company, Factory and Team plans
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance, inspections, servicing, and mechanical repairs
- Respond to and resolve breakdowns and mechanical issues quickly to minimise downtime
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to equipment reliability strategies
To Be Successful
- You will need to hold one of the following qualifications to be considered: City and Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3 and BTEC (Apprenticeship) in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong mechanical background with proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience in both planned and reactive mechanical maintenance
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, pumps, gearboxes, belts, and chains is highly desirable
- Basic understanding of electrical fault finding and PLCs would be an advantage but is not essential
