Due to organic growth, we are currently recruiting for a Lead Welder to join this well-established manufacturing business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and support the team on the shop floor.
  • Promote strong Health & Safety standards and ensure compliance.
  • Manage schedules to keep production running smoothly.
  • Track KPIs, complete daily checks, and drive improvements.
  • Communicate key updates, manage absences, and support performance.
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards and apply Lean/5S practices.

What we are looking for

  • Experienced and comfortable working on the tools as a Welder Fabricator.
  • Previous experience working within similar roles, such as welding supervisor, Welding Team Leader and Experienced Fabricators.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing and 5S standards.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office for planning, reporting and operations.

Working hours

Monday- Thursday (06:00-15:00) Friday (06:00-11:00)

In Return, The Lead Welder Will Receive

  • Basic Salary: £39,000.
  • Early finish on a Friday.
  • Overtime paid at premium.
  • 25 days holiday + bank holiday.
  • Production bonus paid quarterly.
