Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide plant‑wide maintenance service, departmental support and repairs to ensure all production targets are maintained, including factory manufacturing machinery.
- Monitor and supply engineering support for machine set‑up and changeovers to ensure product conforms to quality assurance standards and changeovers are as efficient as possible.
Experience & Qualifications Required
- Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship & Qualification or equivalent (NVQ, City and Guilds, ONC, BTEC or above – Mechanical or Electrical)
- High degree of health & safety awareness.
- Ability to fault‑find, repair and provide solutions to problems.
The position may suit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, maintenance fitter, maintenance electrician, or multi‑skilled maintenance engineer.
