About The Company: A multidisciplinary engineering consultancy providing innovative design and project solutions across the chemical, food & beverage, and industrial sectors. We look for an experienced Piping Design Engineer.

Role Overview: The Piping Design Engineer will design, layout, and develop process piping systems across projects, including 3D models, fabrication drawings, construction support, and compliance with standards and client specs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop piping layouts and 3D models using CAD/plant design software.
  • Prepare piping general arrangements, isometric drawings, and pipe support details.
  • Generate material take‑offs and piping line lists.
  • Conduct flexibility and stress analysis with mechanical engineers.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant codes and client specifications.
  • Coordinate with process engineers to confirm line sizing, materials, and tie‑in points.
  • Interface with equipment vendors for nozzle orientation, connection details, and layout integration.
  • Support HAZOP, HAZID and design reviews.
  • Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and site visits.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in design methods, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3–8 years of piping design experience in consultancy or EPC.
  • Proven experience in chemical, food & beverage, or industrial plant design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D, SolidWorks, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with piping codes, materials, and specifications.
  • Strong understanding of process plant layouts, valve selection, and equipment integration.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience with stress analysis software such as CAESAR II.
  • Knowledge of hygienic design principles for food and beverage.
  • Familiarity with regulated industry project execution.
  • Experience with laser scanning/point cloud integration for brownfield projects.
