We are looking for a highly motivated, statistically minded individual to work for our Risk team based in the ‘London or Malta’ Office. The role is ideally suited to a candidate with experience within Risk or Trading in a sports betting environment with responsibilities and salary tailored to the successful candidate’s level of competencies. The Risk team plays a vital role in optimizing revenue for our Partners. From an early stage in your career at Kambi, you will be given exposure to our highly sophisticated models and responsibility for making business critical decisions. The position will require someone with an analytical mindset and the ability to effectively communicate findings into actionable insights.
Responsibilities:- Analyse the betting behaviours of our partner’s client base, using advanced metrics and reporting tools to determine future expected value.
- Make quantitative and qualitative risk management decisions to optimize revenues of our partners across Online and Retail sports betting verticals.
- Analyse partner financial performance, providing and communicating insights that drive actions to optimize revenues and improve future trading strategy.
- Undertake project work to improve the efficacy of our tools, processes, and guidelines.
- Use procedural guidelines to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of high risk bet acceptance decisions.
- Keen interest and experience in Sports and Sports Betting.
- Strong data management, analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to interrogate data and communicate insights effectively.
- Strong mathematical background.
- Flexible working hours’ approach (some evenings and weekends).
- Motivation to learn new skills and improve personal performance.
- Advanced Excel and/or knowledge of SQL.
- Experience in a sports betting environment or an analytical role.
- University degree (preferably in an analytical field, such as maths or statistics).
