The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong knowledge of cricket and golf, as well as an interest in other sports. The role will involve pricing and trading both pre‑match and in‑play, knowledge transfer, and feedback into the models and trading tools. While the successful candidate will mainly trade cricket and golf, they will also be expected to trade other sports at times. The candidate will work from our London office, working together with other traders in the Cricket & Golf Teams. You will also liaise with different departments at Kambi to deliver a market‑leading product to our clients.
Requirements - Must have
- A strong knowledge of cricket and golf, as well as strong interest in sport in general. We would consider a candidate with strong knowledge in one sport, but an interest and willingness to learn in the other.
- Strong mathematical background
- Fluency in English; any additional foreign language is a plus
- The candidate must be flexible as you will be required to work shifts often on weekends and some evenings, which may include anti‑social hours. The trader’s schedule will be generally based around the global cricket and golf schedules.
Desirable
- A university degree, preferably in an analytical field such as mathematics or statistics
- Can demonstrate a keen interest and aptitude for sports betting, in either personal or professional environment.
- Good interpersonal skills
