KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Publishing Director you will be responsible for building, positioning, and growing Kasedo’s IPs from the ground up.
This role leads brand strategy, audience definition, messaging, and integrated go‑to‑market planning across community, social, PR, influencer, paid media, and creative.
Working closely with developers, internal teams, and external agencies, the Brand Marketing Manager ensures every title has a clear identity, a compelling narrative, and a cohesive marketing presence throughout its lifecycle.
This is a strategic role focused on influence, alignment, and long‑term brand growth, requiring strong cross‑functional leadership and the ability to bring teams together around a unified strategy.
- Brand & IP Development
- Build and position new IPs from the ground up, defining audience, brand identity, tone, and long‑term franchise direction.
- Develop clear, differentiated messaging frameworks that guide all marketing and communication activity.
- Ensure brand consistency across all channels, assets, and touchpoints.
- Integrated Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Lead fully integrated go‑to‑market campaigns across community, social, PR, influencer, paid media, and creative.

- Partner with production, commercial, and leadership teams to align marketing plans with development milestones and business goals.
- Community‑Driven Marketing
- Build strategies informed by community insights, sentiment, and behavioural data.

- Collaborate with the Brand Marketing Assistant to ensure social content reflects brand strategy.
- Developer Collaboration
- Work closely with developers to align messaging, content pipelines, communication beats, and lifecycle planning.
- Act as a strategic partner throughout development, not just at launch.
- External & Internal Partner Management
- Collaborate with creative, communications, influencer, and media buying agencies and teams to deliver high‑quality, multi‑channel campaigns.
- Brief agencies and internal creative , marketing and PR teams clearly, manage timelines, and ensure output meets brand standards.
- Oversee paid media strategy and execution.
- Ensure brand strategy and campaign planning are aligned with Kalypso’s marketing and production teams.
- Maintain strong relationships across both labels to ensure consistency, visibility, and shared standards.
- Campaign Planning & Reporting
- Build campaign plans, timelines, and KPI frameworks.
- Monitor performance across all channels and provide clear, actionable insights.
- Adjust strategy based on data, community feedback, and market conditions.
- Cross‑Functional Leadership
- Influence internal teams as well as developer partners through clarity, planning, and strategic direction
- Work closely with production, commercial, community, and creative teams to ensure cohesive execution.
- Pitches, Market Awareness & Strategic Input
- Maintain a clear understanding of the market landscape by tracking new game pitches, emerging genres, competitor releases, and audience trends.
- Provide strategic, brand‑aligned evaluations of new pitches, assessing audience fit, positioning potential, creative differentiation, and long‑term franchise viability.
- Flag high‑value opportunities to leadership and contribute brand‑focused insights to acquisition discussions.
- Deliver structured feedback to prospective developers, ensuring clarity around brand expectations, audience positioning, and market relevance.
