Kalypso Media Group is an independent publisher and developer of interactive entertainment software with more than 170 employees at a total of ten locations in Germany, England, France, the USA and Japan. Five of the Group's development studios in Germany and France, together with other international games developers, ensure a steady stream of new computer and video games for all modern premium platforms, such as the world-famous "Tropico" series, "Commandos" and "Railway Empire". To strengthen our team at our subsidiary in Bracknell (UK), we are looking for a Marketing & PR Manager to start as soon as possible.
Requirements
- At minimum 4 years in PR, ideally with marketing experience in gaming, entertainment, or tech.
- Proven track record with press outreach and campaigns.
- Strong English writing skills; familiarity with gaming trends and strategy sim audiences.
- Marketing savvy for aligning PR with broader promo strategies.
- Bachelor's in Communications, Marketing, PR, or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft and distribute press releases, media kits, and pitches targeting gaming journalists, influencers, and outlets.
- Collaborate on marketing campaigns integrating PR for launches, events (e.g., Gamescom, EGX), and digital promotions.
- Work closely with the global communications team to align UK efforts with international strategies, share best practices, and co-develop pan-European campaigns.
- Build relationships with media, streamers, and partners in the strategy gaming space.
- Monitor PR performance using analytics and prepare PR reports on media coverage, sentiment, and ROI.
- Support social media amplification and community engagement tied to marketing goals.
