What will I be doing?
Purpose: As the Technical Project Manager (Platform & Integration), you are the critical link between our core engineering capabilities and our major energy clients. You orchestrate the journey from internal platform stability to successful client deployment. Your mission is to ensure that our DataMart, Environment and Infrastructure roadmap is synchronized with client integration needs. You will act as the single point of accountability, translating complex platform architecture into seamless client implementations—ensuring that what we build internally delivers value and reliability to the external market.
Responsibilities
- Client Integration & Technical Governance (External Focus)
- Technical Consulting: serve as the primary technical contact during client integration projects, translating internal platform architecture and dependencies into clear, actionable requirements for the client's technical teams.
- Data & Environment Alignment: own technical coordination for DataMart ingestion requirements, data transformation processes, and the setup/configuration of client testing and production environments.
- API & Interface Management: coordinate delivery schedules and technical governance of client integration points (APIs and data interfaces) with client-side technical leads.
- Technical Risk Communication: proactively communicate technical risks and trade-offs to client stakeholders and internal commercial teams.
- Infrastructure Roadmap: manage internal projects for enhancement and stability of Technical Infrastructure (cloud environments, containerization, security tooling) and Tech Operations maturity.
- DataMart Coordination: drive data engineering projects related to expansion, optimization, and governance of the core DataMart for internal and client reporting/analytics needs.
- Engineering Alignment: collaborate with Platform Architects, DevOps, and Data Engineering to define scope, secure resources, and manage technical dependencies.
- Reliability & Compliance: ensure all infrastructure and data projects adhere to security protocols, regulatory requirements, and internal reliability targets.
- Agile Proficiency: apply knowledge of Scrum and Kanban within an engineering context, managing sprint planning, backlog refinement, and continuous delivery practices.
- Reporting: provide transparent, data-driven reporting using Jira dashboards and metrics showing status of internal delivery and external client dependencies.
- Blocker Resolution: facilitate technical and architectural decisions, acting as the primary point of contact to resolve critical roadblocks for both internal and client teams.
About You
Circa 5 years of experience as a Technical Project/Program Manager, specifically in roles that required management of internal platform engineering and B2B client integrations. Hands-on exposure to API integration, environment provisioning, and data delivery pipelines. Proven track record navigating the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) within a high-growth SaaS, FinTech, or EnergyTech environment.
What Will Set You Apart
A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to build high-performing teams. Experience in the Energy or Utility sector is highly advantageous, particularly regarding industry-specific data standards.
