As the Product Marketing Manager for our Flex solution, you will be the growth accelerator between our commercial and product development teams and our markets globally. You'll be responsible for how we develop and communicate the value of Kaluza to the world's largest utilities and OEMs. The role sits in Kaluza's Growth team together with our marketing and strategy departments. As part of the Growth team our role is to pursue and develop growth opportunities for Kaluza across target markets, always pushing the boundaries of new opportunities and developing and delivering the right value proposition.
Suiting an experienced product marketeer, you will be able to work autonomously, always pushing ahead with what comes next, never waiting to be told. You'll also be highly collaborative with colleagues across multiple disciplines at all levels of the organisation.
- Crafting the Narrative: You'll own the "Why Flex" value proposition. You'll translate complex concepts like V2G, smart charging, and energy trading into high-impact business benefits that resonate with C-suite stakeholders.
- Voice of the Market: You will spend time "in the field," talking directly to prospects and analysts to deeply understand their requirements, challenges, and the unique opportunities within their specific markets.
- Strategic Positioning: You'll use those market insights to navigate the global competitive landscape ensuring Kaluza is always positioned as the premier choice.
- Commercial Strike Team: You'll partner with Business Development and Product teams to lead high-stakes RFPs and deliver visionary value propositions.
- AI-First Marketing: You'll be a power user of AI tools, leveraging them to scale your impact—from competitor research and data analysis to drafting high-quality, consistent content at speed.
- Product-Commercial Bridge: You'll act as the "connective tissue" between our Product Managers and the GTM team, ensuring our roadmap is informed by real-world partner requirements.
- External Roadmap Communication: Communicate product strategy and roadmap externally, positioning Kaluza's vision for energy flexibility to partners and the broader market.
About You
- Scale-up Experience: You've thrived in a fast-paced scale-up environment. You understand how to build processes where they don't exist and are comfortable with rapid shifts in priority.
- A Master Storyteller: You have a proven track record of taking complex B2B SaaS or energy concepts and turning them into simple, benefit-led narratives.
- AI-Savvy: You don't just use AI; you champion it. You look for ways to automate workflows and ensure your output is clear, well-researched, and high-quality.
- Customer-Centric Engagement: You are experienced in engaging with external partners and prospects, with the ability to extract technical requirements and turn them into strategic opportunities.
- Confident External Communication: Professionally and effectively present the product and value propositions externally (e.g., conferences, client meetings, analyst briefings).
- Energy Domain Expertise: It's a benefit, but not essential, to be familiar with demand-side response, distributed energy resources (DERs), or the retail energy market.
- Tech-Native Background: You will have worked closely with deeply technical products and aren't afraid to dive into the "how" to better explain the "why."
What Will Set You Apart
- Specific experience in the marketing of SaaS solutions to B2B customers
- Tangible examples of how you used AI in a previous product marketing role
- Experience in being on the frontline of sales, presenting and demoing to prospective customers
