We are looking for an Analytics Engineering Lead based in London, Bristol or Edinburgh. This role requires the existing right to work in the UK and we currently cannot offer visa sponsorship.

What will I be doing?
- Set the gold standard for our data practices at Kaluza.
- Architect scalable, reliable, and modern data solutions.
- Define engineering best practices (CI/CD, modularity).
- Develop advanced modelling for complex scenarios.
- Research and implement modern data stack tooling.
- Own the long‑term vision for data modelling and governance.
- Lead GDPR incident response.
- Partner with Product to shape the Analytics Engineering Roadmap.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Champion a data‑driven culture.
About you
- Expert‑level proficiency in SQL and dbt, writing clean, reusable, testable code.
- Mastery of dimensional data modelling; ability to design solutions for highly complex scenarios.
- Proven ability to drive adoption of new standards, patterns, and tools across multiple teams without direct authority.
- Exceptional communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders and senior leaders.
- Strong stakeholder management, extracting core requirements and identifying the source of truth in complex, cross‑functional environments.
- A deep, end‑to‑end understanding of the data lifecycle from ingestion and transformation through to consumption.
