About the Role
We are looking for a proactive HSQE Officer to join our team and help maintain high standards of health & safety, quality, and environmental compliance across our operations. This site-based role is key to promoting a positive HSQE culture, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with UK legislation, ISO standards, and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Support health & safety compliance, including risk assessments, RAMS, site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
- Support ISO 9001 Quality Management System and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support H&S compliance and kitemark certification schemes
- Assist with environmental compliance, risk assessments, and sustainability initiatives (ISO 14001)
- Maintain accurate HSQE records and support audits
About You
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
- Experience in HSQE, H&S, or SHEQ roles
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 14001
- Strong understanding of UK HSQE legislation
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate
- ISO internal auditor qualification
- IEMA or other environmental qualifications
