About the Role

We are looking for a proactive HSQE Officer to join our team and help maintain high standards of health & safety, quality, and environmental compliance across our operations. This site-based role is key to promoting a positive HSQE culture, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with UK legislation, ISO standards, and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support health & safety compliance, including risk assessments, RAMS, site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
  • Support ISO 9001 Quality Management System and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support H&S compliance and kitemark certification schemes
  • Assist with environmental compliance, risk assessments, and sustainability initiatives (ISO 14001)
  • Maintain accurate HSQE records and support audits

About You

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Experience in HSQE, H&S, or SHEQ roles
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 14001
  • Strong understanding of UK HSQE legislation
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate
  • ISO internal auditor qualification
  • IEMA or other environmental qualifications
