We're working with a growing financial services business in London that's looking to strengthen its data function with the addition of an experienced Data & MI Analyst.
This is an opportunity to join a business where data is central to decision-making.
You'll be responsible for analysing business performance, producing meaningful management information, building dashboards, and identifying trends that help drive commercial decisions across the organisation.
The Role
- Analyse business data and management information (MI)
- Produce accurate, insightful reporting for senior stakeholders
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting suites
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities through data analysis
- Develop and improve reporting processes and automation
- Work with stakeholders across the business to understand reporting requirements
- Ensure data quality and integrity across multiple data sources
- Present findings and recommendations in a clear, meaningful way
About You
We're looking for someone with previous experience in a Data Analyst, MI Analyst or Business Intelligence role, ideally within financial services, although experience from another regulated industry would also be considered.
You'll ideally have
- Previous experience as a Data Analyst or MI Analyst
- Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas and data manipulation
- Experience writing SQL queries
- Strong Power BI experience (Tableau or similar BI tools also considered)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience presenting data and insights to a range of stakeholders
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for improving reporting
- Python experience would be advantageous but isn't essential
