Kalman & Company is seeking to hire a Sr-level Acquisition Analyst to provide program management services. This position will support DoD clients onsite in Stafford, VA.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Acquisition Category (ACAT) and/or Abbreviated Acquisition Program (AAP) programmatic documentation and deliver updates and/or revisions to existing program acquisition documents in accordance with policies and guidance based on the program’s acquisition phase.
- Develop briefs and presentations to support Integrated Product Team (IPT) briefs, Congressional briefs, MS and Decision Point briefs, Program Management Reviews (PMRs), executive-level and external stakeholder briefings and white papers, and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) reviews.
- Draft documents and deliver support in the development of ACAT/AAP designation package(s); develop acquisition life cycle documents, to include Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans, Life Cycle Cost Estimates, Concept of Operations Documents, Analyses of Alternatives, etc.
- Research, analyze, and develop programmatic documentation related to fleet readiness, sustainment, and disposal.
- Assist IPTs with analytical support and other tasks as required.
- Develop strategies for contracting and procurement planning.
- Identify opportunities to reduce Total Ownership Costs.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- US Citizenship is required.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance.
- 10 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrate ability to clearly articulate information both verbally and in writing.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills: ability to work with a wide audience.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage tasks/prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business-related field; Master’s Degree a plus.
