Kalman & Company is seeking to hire a mid-level SharePoint Administrator to provide management of the SharePoint sites used by the Government customer in support of Program Manager Motor Transport efforts. This position is contingent upon contract award and would support DoD clients in Stafford/Quantico, VA.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Serve as the PM MT administrator, providing oversight and daily management for SharePoint sites which support the staff and Teams
- Manage, administer, and maintain the SharePoint sites, responsible for the following day-to-day activities:
- Granting and managing user requests and permissions
- Executing a process to migrate and archive legacy program information and other shared electronic files
- Creating indexes for easy retrieval
- Providing user training
- Maintaining standard operating procedures and user guides
- Updating contact information for personnel within the organization
- Add new files and links as needed
- Maintain up-to-date user access, contact information, user guides, and files
- Develop administration techniques and business forms within the SharePoint Server Portal
- Participate in and/or lead reoccurring IPTs/meetings with senior leadership and/or the Product Offices\’ SharePoint leads to discuss the most efficient ways to migrate multiple SharePoint environments
- The contractor shall design and develop solutions to address business needs and opportunities and propose changes that would make the SharePoint environment a more effective solution
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the development of web parts and console applications used to support customers within the SharePoint environment
- Lead a business information management process that allows users to quickly adapt to changes within the SharePoint portal, both planned and unplanned
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to user and system problems
- Develop, implement, and update the education program for data management to provide information, training, and assistance to users
Required Skills/Abilities:
- US Citizenship is required
- Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT- or computer science-related field
- 5-10 years of relevant experience required, 10+ years desired
- Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate information both verbally and in writing
- Exceptional interpersonal skills: ability to work with a wide audience
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage tasks/prioritize work to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Advanced Excel skills
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT- or computer science-related field; Master’s Degree a plus
