At Kallidus, we’re on a mission to help organisations build people-first cultures through learning, performance, and talent solutions. Our award-winning suite empowers organisations to attract, develop, and retain the best talent — combining data, learning, and behavioural insights into one seamless platform. The goal is to link employee performance to business outcomes. We are a technology company, not just a company that 'does technology'. Our software is used by millions of people every day. We build it ourselves, we own it entirely, and the people who lead that work have real influence over how it evolves. Come build, grow and make a difference!
The Role: The Senior Product Managers are responsible for ensuring what gets built is both valuable and viable – and they have a track record of excellence. Showcasing ambition, thoughtfulness, and pragmatism, your core responsibility will be actively enabling one or more of our product squads to deliver customer value in a way that works for our business. Day-to-day you’ll be part of a cross-functional team of bright and kind engineers and designers set with business objectives and empowered to discover and deliver solutions to important business problems in the HR technology space. You’ll be measured based on the success of achieving tangible business outcomes that push our product closer to our product vision, your determination of opportunities to pursue, and the effectiveness of your product squad.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate, define, and prioritize potential opportunities for discovery or delivery with your squad
- Collaborate with your squad’s designers and engineers to determine the best solution to given business problems
- Participate in agile ceremonies like planning, review, retro, and backlog refinement
- Ensure your squad’s backlog is ruthlessly prioritized and representative of our product strategy, road mapped business problems, and feedback from customers, market trends, and internal stakeholders
- Set success metrics for your squad’s work and consistently measure, promote, and learn from the results
- Participate in ongoing learning to better understand our users and customers, our data, our business, and our industry
- Regularly share strategic insight relevant to your squad’s focus area, our industry, or our business
Required Skills, Experience and Behaviours:
- At least 4 years in a SaaS product management role
- Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills with fluency in English
- Demonstrated success supporting and launching well-received products and features
- Demonstrated empathy for customers
- Data-driven and creative thought process
- Clear ability to track, analyze, and interpret data to derive insights that drive customer value
- Experience working with distributed and remote teams
- Natural curiosity and ability to slice large problems into smaller, more achievable ones
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize interconnected tasks into a single stream of work
Desirable:
- Product management experience in the mid-size B2B technology market
- Familiarity in talking with customers, working alongside designers and engineers, personal project and time management, and some technical exposure (APIs, low-code, SQL)
- Product Institute and CSPO certifications (we can help you achieve these, too)
- Resulting metrics and learnings from recent product or feature launches
- Experience working on multiple distinct products
- Experience in the L&D industry is advantageous
What we offer:
- 27 days of annual leave
- Private health insurance
- Annual bonus opportunity
- Full tech setup
- Birthday Off
