The Job: We are looking for a .NET engineer with detailed knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) to build software using languages and technologies of the .NET framework. You will join one of our Agile development teams, reporting to the Team Lead, to work on our user authentication services. In this role, you should be able to write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects. You should be a team player and excellent communicator. If you are also passionate about the .NET framework and software design/architecture, we’d like to meet you.
Your goal will be to work with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software.
Your responsibilities:
- Participate in requirements analysis
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
- Adhere to systems security engineering principles
- Test and deploy applications and systems
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code
- Improve existing software
- Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Serve as an expert on applications (particularly IAM) and provide technical support
Your Skills, Experience and Behaviours:
- Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer
- Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server, and design/architectural patterns
- Knowledge of .NET, C# and HTML5/CSS3
- Knowledge and experience with authentication standards and technologies, such as JWT, OAuth, OpenID Connect and SAML
- Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- An academic qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
The following skills and experience are desirable:
- Knowledge and experience with authentication standards and technologies, such as JWT, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, etc.
